TP Construction, Inc. is a family owned regional construction company located in the heart of north central Montana. Tom Patrick began operations in 1979 with just the necessary equipment, a bobcat, trencher and an end dump truck, providing services to small businesses and local residences. Over the past 28 years, TP Construction has grown substantially and is proud to employ more than 50 full-time employees; some who have been with the company for more than 15 years.

TP Construction has humble beginnings whose primary focus was on the installation and maintenance of septic and water systems. It now is capable of the implantation of major water and sewer systems. In addition to utility work TP Construction provides general contract earthwork and building excavation, train derailment clean up and track installation, natural gas lines and septic services. Like so many small companies in Montana, it was necessary to diversify operations in order to survive. There are many facets to the success of the company and diversification plays a key role.

The company continues to do major water and sewer systems along with small jobs; not forgetting its roots and playing a viable role in the small bedroom community of Havre. In addition to the number of heavy construction services mentioned previously, TP Construction has been involved with sub-development projects and building site work. TP Construction has a fleet of 20 semis and a plethora of heavy equipment to assist in the various projects it is involved with. Trucking has come to play a larger role in the company as the demand for gravel and fill dirt has grown along with the increase in sub-development and site work the company is directly involved in. TP Construction has five different gravel pits in the area to accommodate the needs of the company as well as other contractors in the region.TP Construction has a strong and diverse management team with generational local ties to the community. Included in the management team are many younger individuals that have great knowledge and enthusiasm combined with a strong work ethic and a craving for getting the job done in the best manner possible for the company and the owners of the projects.
